I recently moved to Grand Rapids and I am having issues with obtaining my own place. I have been unemployed and can't afford the first month rent/security deposit. I will be starting work within the next 2 weeks for Maxim Healthcare but I am having issues with a stable home in the mean time.

I’m wondering if you are able to help those behind on there rent related to Covid. I’m on disability & work in the restaurant industry unable to return until after Covid because of health issues. I am currently $5200.00 past due on my rent with no end in site as to how I’ll ever catch up. If your organization can provide me with help I would be so grateful. A huge stress would be lifted off my shoulders. I’m scared & worry all the time I’ll get evicted.

I’m behind in my rent and my unemployment has ran out. I’m a young single mother of a 1 and 2 year old with not a lot of help with childcare. Do you have funds to help out? If so what do I need to do to apply for help from you guys? Also what are the qualifications?
