Washington State Department of Social and Health Services- King Eastside offers assistance to those that qualify and are experiencing an emergent situation . These services can include help with rent or utility payments.
Services available include Additional Requirements for Emergent Needs which is available to those receiving assistance through Temporary Assistance to Needy Families (TANF), State Family Assistance (SFA), or Refugee Cash Assistance (RCA) programs. This program offers assistance in addition to funds already being received.Another program available is Diversion Cash Assistance (DCA) which is available to those that qualify and are in need of short term help but do not wish to receive TANF.
You can apply for benefits by visiting your local office or you can fill out an application online. Please contact customer service to make an appointment or obtain more information.

Do they offer emergency cash to pay rent?

Answer:
That’s what it says that it’s emergency cash for rent or utility payments if you qualify for TANF which in my eyes is the same as qualifying to receive child support but I’d def look up the details on that part

Do you know if a person collecting unemployment can qualify to get rent assistance at this location?

Answer:
As long as your unemployment income doesn’t exceed their guidelines and you meet the other requirements, which I believe just means having a dependent but I’m not entirely sure on that second part

Hello I currently live in bellevue and I am being evicted. Our land lord gave is a 3 day notice. I have been unemployed since the covid outbreak. I have not gotten my unemployment yet. I am hoping to find some help with move in assistance
