This program is for income-eligible District residents facing housing emergencies providing funding for overdue rent if a household is facing eviction.

Security depositsFirst months rent
Eligibility:Must be a DC residence Proven state of emergency Household must meet the federal poverty guidelines. (125%)
The application process is open for 60 days; the payments can only be used once per year for each household.
Mission Statement: The Greater Washington Urban League (GWUL or the League) is on a mission to increase the economic and political empowerment of historically vulnerable and diverse populations.
