District of Columbia Housing Authority offers rental assistance to those that qualify through the management of Low Rent Housing and the areas Housing Choice Voucher Program - Section 8. These programs are income based and the eligibility guidelines are set by HUD.
There may be waiting lists for these programs and at times the lists may close to new applicants. Please contact them directly for more detailed information, to schedule an appointment or to check on the status of any waiting lists currently in place.
