District of Columbia Housing Authority offers rental assistance to those that qualify through the management of Low Rent Housing and the areas Housing Choice Voucher Program - Section 8. These programs are income based and the eligibility guidelines are set by HUD. There may be waiting lists for these programs and at times the lists may close to new applicants. Please contact them directly for more detailed information, to schedule an appointment or to check on the status of any waiting lists currently in place. Building Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:30 am - 4:30 pm HCVP Walk-In Day: Tuesday, 8:30 am - 3:30 pm | Landlord Walk-In Day: Friday, 8:30 am - 3:30 pm

I am currently on all dcha waiting lists... I've been on them for 13 years... I have been in the shelter 4 times since i applied and still have not received assistance... Im currently in danger of becoming homeless again... When will i receive a voucher or housing
