Emergency Assistance (EA) is available to qualified individuals and families facing emergencies which are either life-threatening (shelter, utilities or medical) and/or work-related.
Interested applicants can apply at the Township's General Assistance office by contacting Jeanne Winsted Rosser, Social Services Administrator.
Applicants must be residents of New Trier Township, United States citizens or qualified immigrants and must meet all financial and non-financial eligibility requirements.
Families and individuals receiving TANF and/or SSI are ineligible for Emergency Assistance.
