This program offers assistance in addition to funds already being received. Another program available is Diversion Cash Assistance (DCA) which is available to those that qualify and are in need of short term help but do not wish to receive TANF.
You can apply for benefits by visiting your local office or you can fill out an application online. Please contact customer service to make an appointment or obtain more information.

I clean houses for a living. I lost my jobs 2 weeks ago. I have in my care two sons (15 and 10 years old). I don’t have a way to know when my clients are going to need me again. To be able to pay my rent this and the following month (March & April) will represent the only money I had save until now. I need you to help me since I can’t sleep thinking how Am I going to do it since I don’t work for a company so I can’t prove to my Landlord that I don’t know how long is going to take for my to start working again or to submit prove that I don’t have a job anymore. Thank you I’ll appreciate any help you can have for me and my boys!!!!

I am a 60 yr old disabled ex-social worker (on hemodialysis) seeking any assistance you may have to help with our rent. Our only income is SSDI. We have been behind in our rent since January (we are in our 11th year here at our apt). My wife has been applying for work for several months and since she lost her job in her 5th month she was ineligible for unemployment benefits. Any assistance you might have available would be greatly appreciated.
I'm needing help with rent I'm disabled and get SSI but I pay 500 dollars for rent and I have my phone and transportation to pay for and all I get is 714 dollars month that leaves me with nothing for toilet stuff.
