These programs are income based and the eligibility guidelines are set by HUD. There may be waiting lists for these programs and at times the lists may close to new applicants due to the length of wait on the lists.

please i need help i live on SSI my monthly income is lower then $900. im on the almost going to be evicted i cant afford my rent, my application it's been there since 2010 i have report twice a year my information so i can be on a waiting list i have been on waiting since 2010,,, my friend applied same as im her application was approved 4 years ago but im still waiting

Please help me find an apartment I can afford. I'm on SSDI, am deaf, and have arthritis. I get less than $1,000.00 a month from disability and cannot afford an apartment. I live with my sister and her husband but they need the room for their daughter. I've tried for 2 years to get on housing assistance with no luck due to Covid. I know there are many applicants, but I just need help with rent.
