About Smiles for Seniors Foundation

Smiles For Seniors Foundation offers assistance to seniors who qualify when funds are available and approved by the Board.

Applicants must be65 years of age or older and reside in California as well as meet income and other eligibility requirements.

Once an applicant fills out an application and they are found to be eligible, it is then sent to the Board of Directors for approval. All approved applications are paid directly to the service provider.

Mission Statement: Our mission is To alleviate some of the pressure and fear many seniors have of not having enough to survive or having to choose between medication and rent.

Do they offer emergency cash to pay rent?

Answer:
They have Rental Assistance to provide to all eligible Seniors(65)+. If you are a Senior who is of the required age, and receive Social Security, Medical, and/or low income resident of the county in which the services are offered, I would not hesitate to contact the program, they will assist your needs are provide you with other resources that may help.

What documents are required to apply for cash payment help?

Answer:
It is always best to have a Government issued I. D card/Driver's license, Social Security Card, and proof of income along with any other documents that will assist the personnel in determine your eligibility. Please contact your nearest Rental Assistance Program

Do you know if a person collecting unemployment can qualify to get rent assistance at this location?

Answer:
If you receive any benefits from a Government program such as Unemployment insurance, SNAP, Social Security, Supplemental Social Security, they will view the information and figure what program you qualify for and the specific requirements. Please contact your local Rental Assistance Program.

Please contact your nearest Rental Assistance Program they can guide you to a organization to where you can apply for services if you are not a resident of the city and/or county that is offering such assistance.
