Applicant Screening - In order to ensure legitimacy, our clients are required to provide picture identification, social security numbers, proof of income, and proof of residency for all household members.
Money - One of the few agencies in DeSoto County that provide emergency financial assistance.
They have established relationships with Entergy, Atmos, several pharmacies in the area, and apartment complexes which enable us to pledge assistance so that no money is exchanged between Samaritans and its clients.

My name is Cynthia Warner, I live in DeSoto County in Northwest Mississippi. I am being evicted from my home in seven days due to financial impact on my life due to Covid-19. Hey I was trying to get assistance with my rent and electric bill and water bill. I have been struggling to keep a roof over my kids head my son is suffering from autism and my kids are very low on food I really needed the lights on for there virtual school just begging for help please
