Utility AssistanceThey can help you avoid shut off of utilities by assisting with a payment to your utility company. Funds for this service come through government contracts and have strict guidelines about qualifying. Please phone the Energy Program Coordinator at 942-6492 for more information or to make an appointment. A waiting list starts in the fall for assistance through the LIEAP (Low Income Energy Assistance Program). Housing AssistanceCan help you avoid eviction for non-payment of rent, get housed through assistance with entry costs, or avoid foreclosure through assistance with mortgage payments. Funds for this service come to us through government contracts and have strict guidelines about qualifying. Please phone the Housing Program Coordinator at 942-7933 for more information or to make an appointment. Prescription AssistanceHas limited funds to assist with filling a prescription for yourself or a family member. You will need to contact the pharmacy and get a written statement of the cost of the prescription and the person for whom it is written. Bring this information to Community Sharing during regular business hours. Assistance for People Without HousingIn addition to special food boxes for people who have no cooking or cold food storage facilities, they have limited funds for showers, laundry, and propane. Come to the office during regular business hours with your identification. Other AssistanceFirewood is available during the winter months . When you obtain a voucher your will need to call to make an appointment. Special holiday food boxes and a holiday gift program are available in December. Advance sign up is required to participate in holiday programs.

Was wondering if you have the funds available and are helping with rent I'm behind and need some help unemployment is taking forever and I I'm looking for work just don't want my kids to be homeless again
I need to apply for rent assistance in cottage grove Oregon.
My name is nichole I have 2 babies and cannot work or find work do to having to homeschool and watching my kids because I can't afford day care. So in order me to received help with daycare I need to be working. Im usually always one-time with rent. I just need a little bit of help to get back on track and not get kicked out of the residence I AM at. Also they are realizing the rent 115$ I can't afford it.
