Assistance provided may include, but is not limited to the following: utilities (gas, electric, bulk fuel, water - but not cable service), furniture, clothing, rent and mobile home lot fees, medical bills and prescriptions , mortgage payment, appliances, bus tickets, etc.
Serves Lake County residents as well as members of churches located in Lake County.
Individuals can only receive assistance for the same need once per year.
Assistance will only be granted in cases where the amount given can fix the situation. Service is generally for those with low income or who are facing a temporary financial hardship.
Eligibility varies depending on the client's situation and on the type of assistance that is needed.
Funds are limited and are granted on a case-by-case basis.

The owner of the house wants to sell the house and wants us to move, but I cannot pay a higher rent than what I am paying. I have minors living with me and my husband is disabled.
