Funds may also be used to assist low income families in securing a more affordable rental housing unit. Public housing authorities and non-profit agencies can apply for the SDAP funds to administer in their area.

Am eligible to apply for housing or some sort of assistance during this time? Since COVID and being let go from my job, I have been struggling to make ends meet and am getting behind on my rent. I have been dealing with unemployment for 7 weeks now and all they tell me I can do is WAIT...For a payment to go through. I don't have many options and I don't know what to do!
