Department of Social Services and Department of Community Development - RICHMOND offers Funding program that called the Homelessness Prevention and Rapid Re-Housing Program (HPRP), is being distributed based on the formula used for the Emergency Shelter Grants (ESG) program.
Grantees may provide rental assistance or services to eligible program participants who are residing or would like to reside outside their jurisdiction. They may also fund ubgrantees that serve persons outside of the jurisdiction, subgrantees that are located outside of the jurisdiction, and subgrantees that serve multiple jurisdictions.
A grantee may establish more stringent requirements, such as requiring that HPRP funds be spent within the jurisdiction or establishing a residency requirement,but HUD is not setting these requirements.

Im looking for place for me and my daughter..im living with my mom and me and my daughter sharing a room..i file bankrupt and people i was staying with told me i had move and they was moving out town..i gave up my apartment a d move in 6 months later they told me i had go..after i file bankrupt and i couldnt find place for us..so im staying with my mom until i can find place of my own...but its been hard since i file bankrupt back in February..i been discharge since June..and was told i couldnt apply for another place for one year...i appreciate my mom letting move back in but i need my own place and some help getting my own since my bankruptcy..
Am in need of assistance don't have any place to live in need some help with some we're to stay
