Housing and Community Development Services - WACO offers program that provides Homelessness Prevention and Rapid Re-Housing Program (HPRP), that is being distributed based on the formula used for the Emergency Shelter Grants (ESG) program. Grantees may provide rental assistance or services to eligible program participants who are residing or would like to reside outside their jurisdiction.
They may also fund ubgrantees that serve persons outside of the jurisdiction, subgrantees that are located outside of the jurisdiction, and subgrantees that serve multiple jurisdictions. A grantee may establish more stringent requirements, such as requiring that HPRP funds be spent within the jurisdiction or establishing a residency requirement,but HUD is not setting these requirements.

Hello my name is Gabriela im a mother of 5 i recently moved in with my older sibling and his family due to the covid-19 me and my fiance have struggled to find work and i just found out that we have 4 days to pay $1100 to stay in the home we are now... I have 5 children and my brother and his wife have 4 we have no one to ask for help from and my fiance just started work as did i and my brother. I would be forever greatful if you all could hear my plea and answer my prayers and bless us with the help. We have faith god will bless us but we are very stressed since we have children.
