The Housing Authority and its allied organizations provide assistance to approximately 2,076 households. Housing assistance is provided throughout the region and can be found in Woodland, West Sacramento, Davis, Winters, Esparto, Yolo, Knight's Landing, Dunnigan, Madison and in Dixon (Solano County).
YCH provides year-round rental assistance through low cost housing that it owns and manages, as well as through housing that it owns in partnership. It also provides assistance through its Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher program, its Project-Based Voucher program and through its Section 8 Homeownership program.
Additional units are available as well as through housing programs provided by its non-profit subsidiary, New Hope Community Development Corporation.
YCH also provides decent and safe temporary housing to migrant farmworker families during the Countys growing season. The City operates two centers in Yolo County. In addition, the YCH also provides staff and services to the Dixon Housing Authority and manages its Dixon Migrant Center.

I'm out of work, and can't find work, I paid half of my rent, of $500.00 and sill owe $565.00 I haven't had any income. I called my landlord and said I have half and I might be late with the other half, i will pathe the late fee, i was told it's ok, with everything happening we will wave late chsrge and just get the remaining by the 15th, I've been waiting on my $1200.00. Covid -19 check, an hour later the lady from the management office, brings me a 3 day or quit notice, I've lived here over 10yrs never missed a rent payment, maybe late by a couple of days past, so I'm stressing and don't where to turn, I've never had to get aid,

I work for the state and my pay was cut by 10% I have both of my parents, my son his two babies and the mom along with my fiance which are currently not working since Covid started they lost their jobs due to Covid with the exception of my father he received a 10% pay cut also and actually caught Covid. I wasn't able to keep up with my electrical PG&E bill or my city bill they are both very high I've been putting what I can on them I also couldn't keep up with me credit Bill's and now my credit is totally shot or bad and I can not receive any type of loan to help me out of this mess. How would I qualify or would I even qualify for some kind of assistance with anything at this point would be great if not then I thank you for time with my request. My mortgage is the only thing that I make sure gets paid.
I was involved in a Very Bad motorcycle accident. While in recovery in the hospital I lost my 4 bed house everything in it along with my 2 kids belongings. I am currently homeless and i am receiving ssdi and Calworks. I am in search of low income housing.I ve always worked but my income is only $1170 .00 a month. I am currently in a program where they put me up in a motel for 2 months and while im being housed I have to find a place where they will pay for the deposit and last months rent. Do you guys have any openings in any of your apartment complexes right now that I can apply for?
