Tarrant County Department of Human Services - Bedford provides assistance with mortgage, rent and case management. SUAP Special Utility Assistance Program has limited funds to provide electric and gas services assistance to eligible households.
Eligibility: Tarrant County resident who is a US citizen or permanent resident, adult 18 years.
Hours of Operation: Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 4:00 pm

My husband and I need help with our rent. We just got our letter from landlord to vacate(eviction) within 30 days for not being able to pay our rent due to covid. ($1530 is due) My husband works full time and ever since his hours have been cut. I picked up a job working for uber but it hasn't helped much to cover rent,food and most of our bills. Plus we won't have next month rent either. Need help,any help appreciated. Thank you
Hi I lost my job in August I've been trying to apply for unemployment and it's been very hard for me due to the fact that I was collecting the disaster payments from unemployment originally and then I was officially laid off after that Judy covid-19 me my wife and my two kids are struggling with the loss of my job and income at this time I am behind on rent and another month's rent is due now I have no clue what to do I never had to reach out and try to get resources like this before and I am struggling everyday with this fact that I can't provide for my family I need help and I don't know where to turn.
