General Assistance is based on financial and non-financial eligibility. The Salvation Army of Macon County is also a selected Agency to provide supportive services for Veteran Families(SSVF).With this program we can assist very low-income Veteran families residing in or transitioning to permanent housing.

Unemployed,medical issues. Being evicted this week. Is there financial assistance available?
Im in need for help to pay my rent in months behind,
I missed a week of work being sick and could not pay my rent this month and I got five day notices, I’ve paid my rent on time since I’ve lived there n missed one time, now I’m getting evicted.
