Do they offer emergency cash to pay rent?

Any assistance Programs will pay directly to whom you are asking assistance for. If they would give the people the money, it would be easier for them to spend it somewhere else. They would only pay a portion of it to their bills.

Hi, My name is Amber. I wasn’t sure where to inquire on emergency assistance. I am 23 and a single mom to a 6 year old (Teen mom). I was out sick from work for a week without sick pay and it has left me short on rent. I live by myself with my son and I work full time and I still don’t manage to make enough. I’m not sure what else to do, I have low credit so I don’t qualify for a loan.
