Mid Florida Community Services - Support Services for rent or electric assistance is available to low-income individuals and families facing a crisis situation due to a recent job loss or other unexpected circumstances that have negatively impacted the family's financial stability.

Who is Eligible:Low-income households whose income falls 125% or below on the Federal Poverty Guidelines. Services Available:Emergency/Support Services are available to assist low-income households in financial crisis with rent/mortgage payments, past due utility bills, food, emergency car repairs, prescriptions and other basic medical care.

By appointment only. Appointments may be scheduled by calling MFCS' toll free number at 844-873-3185. Documents needed for assistance include:

Valid Identification Social Security Cards (required for all household members) Proof of IncomeSNAP (food stamp) Award LetterLease (if applicable)

There is no cash payment help. They will help with rent and electric by making a payment on your behalf to the electric company and/or your landlord.

I am in great need of help to pay my rent I've been unemployed since March 15th, I am going to be homeless and I don't have any means to stop unbecoming homeless.. I owe rent since June 2020 .. Please help me not become homeless. I don't even have a car anymore to be able to stay in. I need help with rent or even a car I can stay in I do have my Florida license still in great standings but I do not have a vehicle.

I’m behind 2 months rent and I have to move in 30 days because my landlord had to sell house. I get $529 A month from ssi.
