In general, the program offers two types of loans that provide property owners with financing home improvement costs. Direct loans, which are repayable in monthly installments, and deferred loans, which are generally available to senior citizens who own and occupy their home and are repayable upon sale or transfer of the property.
Loans must be used for the removal of code violations, health and safety conditions and improve the propertys energy efficiency and include plumbing, electrical, heating, carpentry, windows and roofing.

Need to no if you can help with my rent and to buy food please this is the hard time i want to if you can give help
I am currently resident in Mount Vernon. I need to move immediately. I have low income from the care of my 2 grandsons. I'm in a situation where I need to move as soon as possible. Need assistance in finding and possibly helping me pay the rent needed.
