Do they offer emergency cash to pay rent?

No. All assistance go directly to the property manager, utility company, or mortgage company or medical provider. The assistance must be verified and is provided per the county's purchasing requirements.

What documents are required to apply for cash payment help?

1 Answers so far
Answer:
The documents required for assistance are posted on the county web page at FlaglerCounty.org under Social Services. By the way, there is a Senior Services division, but the division that provides assistance is Human Services, not Senior Services. They need bank statements, paystubs, ID, Social Security Card, and documentation of the financial emergency (and other documentation as they review)

Do you know if a person collecting unemployment can qualify to get rent assistance at this location?

1 Answers so far
Answer:
Yes, if the person is income-eligible and can document an unexpected financial emergency, the person would likely be eligible for this temporary assistance. People who are unemployed due to choice are not likely eligible as this assistance is very limited and not based solely on household income but on need.
