Last-Modified: 2024-03-27 02:32:20Housing Resource Center Salinas provides emergency rental assistance to clients in two categories:Rapid Re-housingthey move quickly to obtain permanent housing for an individual or a family that is already homeless. These clients are their highest priority.Homeless Preventionsome clients have housing, but are in danger of imminent eviction due to a one-time or short-term need.
This may arise from job loss, injury or other unforeseen incident keeping the family from meeting its obligations.In both situations, HRC case managers work closely with clients to assess their level of need; and at the same time, work directly with landlords to provide a solution that will provide new or retain existing housing in a timely manner.
In some cases, assistance with utilities may be available as well. Case managers also assess clients and refer them to other agencies for services and additional aid they may be eligible for, such as food, employment, and child care. Financial literacy educationlearning to make, budget, and save money, as well as manage credit and debtis a key component of all HRC programs (learn more in the "Financial Literacy" section below).

I've used this service before.I need 1000. The staff was unfriendly. I waited less than 10 minutes. I didn't see any one I just called and asked for help and I got nothing.
I need an emergency room for me n my 2 kids please help me??!!
My husband and I live in my truck. I work at a housing program but have been homeless for over 3 years as i am not a veteran and have poor credit. I was told to contact you but the last time i came into your office the person at the desk turned me away and said i did not qualify. We have no extra cash to work with and now with shelter in place we have even less. Since we are not a to store food.
Hi my family and I live in a garage and I was reaching out to see if you can help us get in to a program for housing ASAP, were pretty much homeless I had to pretty much leave my job because they were literally giving no hours for work. I have applied for unemployment but somehow I can’t seem to get my unemployment. Do you help on paying for rent for a house for our family? We are a family of six (6) living in the garage. 3 kids and 3 adults, my mom, my self and my sister with her teenage kids which still attend shool.
Quiziera saber dónde me podrían asistir para la renta y depósito para un apartamento pues donde estoy viviendo haorita es en un cuarto pero somos mis 3 hijos y yo el más grande ya tiene 17 años y nos sentimos incómodos por el reducido espacio pero yo por el momento no estoy trabajando estaba en busca de un nuevo empleo pero hizieron cierre de escuela por covid19 y no recibí ninguna llamada de las aplicaciones k anduve llenando y aparte estoy a cargo de mis hijos y el más pequeño atiende clase especial y le batallo Con el por k cambia de humor muy continuamente y se enoja mucho y al final del día termino exahusta su doctora dijo k tenia ansiedad y le dieron medicamento pero a los 2 meces se lo retiraron por k se dormía en la escuela oh en el bus y se ponía más irritado k de costumbre y para el también es difícil el poco espacio en el k estamos viviendo por sus problemas médicos se desespera y me dice k kiere tener un cuarto para el y es está la razón por la cual estoy buscando ayuda para poder acomodar a mis hijos y yo en un apartamento y estar con la en presión de el reducido espacio y yo poder entrar a un nuevo trabajo para sacar a mis hijos adelante gracias
The Organization really needs to be audited And procedure And Policy and confidential AlSo needs to also be addressed instead of basing it on feelings and Base services on what's needed not by what they thinks needed it’s a horrible place to go to no support at all.
