Special Utility Assistance Program (SUAP) limited to provide electric and gas services to eligible households. Must have household incomes of less than $100 a month, crisis events, health conditions, and/or employment status may allow for higher income levels.

Mission Statement: The mission of TCDHS is to provide social services and economic assistance to individuals and families. Financial assistance is provided to eligible households for rent, mortgage, utilities, food & hygiene items, and transportation on a limited basis.

I am a business owner first year. I had not had an opportunity to get my business up and running successfully before covid 19 became a concern. I have been ordered to lock my business down and this was my only means of income. I understand the severity of closing as I am one if those individuals with an underlying medical condition diabetes. I last received income March 21. It has now been 1 month with no income. I am awaiting my 1200 stimulus as it will be mailed. I understand we are not sure when to expect it. I am also awaiting TWC unemployment pay, as I have yet to receive it. My landlord is filing an eviction so I am asking for your assistance in helping me pay my rent. Thank you in advance. I have never been late on my rent payments. I am afraid to receive an eviction in which I have never had nor had a problem paying ever and on time. Again thank you

I need to know what I can do to get assistance on paying rent for December? I do work but I'm not getting paid the same amount I was getting paid before I got fired from my previous job. I was getting paid 15 an hour but now I getting paid 13.50. I had to get another car due to the fact my car that is paid off broke down now I pay a car note again...I am a single mother of 3. Been struggle paying rent since October. My rent went up from 875 to 925. Been at my residence for 4 years now. I just need some help..
I just want to say good luck with any assistance from any of the resources in Fort Worth or tarrant county. I’ve been on the sec8 waiting list for tarrant county or public housing authority since 2017 and I’m still 3111 on the list in 2022
