About Volunteers of America of Greater Baton Rouge
Last-Modified: 2024-02-15 15:22:44Volunteers of America Greater Baton Rouge began in 1921 as a family shelter.
Today, our housing and homeless programs have grown to meet the changing needs of South Louisiana and the unique challenges that low-income households face finding safe, decent, and affordable housing. People served range from chronically homeless adults living on the streets, to individuals and households who are experiencing a housing crisis for the first time, to people in jeopardy of losing their homes. Volunteers of America provides a range of services designed to meet people where they are and encourages them to play an active role in their own recovery. For many, we are the first link in a continuum of care that enables them to move towards stability and self-sufficiency.

To whom concerned: I’m in need of help paying my rent which is due on June 1, 2020.
I would like to get information about getting help with my rent. Because I lost my job and most likely will be evicted
I need help with my rent for June 1 I have a 4,5 year old who's in need of help I'm a single parent who have to pay ppl to watch my kids to work bc of schools and daycare are close I'm not getting the hours to pay my rent and take care of my kids
My rent is 700 a month I have some of it, if it is not paid soon we will be evicted nobody else seems to can help me.
I need assistance with my rent. I have an eviction notice.
Me and my family are in need of shelter if you can help at all.
