The Department provides temporary financial assistance and employment services, free and low-cost health care insurance for families with children, pregnant women and aged/blind/disabled adults; food benefits for families and individuals; in-home services for elderly and disabled individuals; and financial assistance and advocacy for federal disability benefits for disabled individuals.

Need to apply for assistance in rent to a new place
I’m out of work and out of funds for rent I don’t know what to do
I need cash assistance to pay my rent i have 8 children and I dont want to get evicted please I need the help in any way thank i
I'm finally found a place to rent and I need help with it and nobody else will rent to me because I am homeless and I need a place to live and I hope you can help me with this and I don't want to go to a shelter because I i read about the corona was in the shelters
I would love to apply to the low income housing. Im currently in project keys and working close to case manager at the multi service center in long beach this program ends on September 30.2020 and were trying to find permanent housing for a chronically ill person like myself i am currently unable to work due to severe Oppression causing much bad anxiety and depression.
I am 67 year old disabled Senior in a wheelchair have Mulitiple Sclerosis. I am low income on Social Security. Would like to find an apartment for myself. Would need rent relief to be able to qualify low income .
My husband me we are very low income from SSA. All senior apts are on waiting. We really need to find low income apt as soon as possible.
Need info for someone else help for security deposit.
