Last-Modified: 2024-03-08 08:17:27The Office of Family Empowerment is also home to the Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP), which provides assistance for income-eligible families with home energy bills. This program runs from July 1 to June 30 each year. Assistance may be received only once per program year. LIHEAP awards are applied directly to the applicant's account with the energy provider.

Hey I’m Acasha single parent of 4. I have custody of all four of my kids with no help. I have some many bills to pay to where I have taken loans to help me and now I’m in big debt with no help. I don’t know what to do I’m stressed out and mentally tired, really want to give up but I know I can’t because of my four! If any one could help me please! My light bill 315.21 have to be paid by August 27,2019 I owe 3,040.00 to CHA if I don’t pay 1,041.00 in the next 45 days or I’ll be terminated. Car broke down have to come up with a down deposit for a new car just to get us back and forth to school and work if any one could help please.
