If anyone is looking to get help from Foothill Aids Project, you, family, or friends have to first have a chronic illness to get help it might sound mean but that is what one of the employees told me.
Aloha, my name is Russell Aukai Cain. I have been living with HIV for 10 years. I am in dire need of assistance and it is difficult to ask for this without actually being a little embarrassed and down on yourself. Truly difficult times for everyone. I came across your information when I was searching for low income apartments online. I decided to to reach out and see if I fit the criteria for help with your organization. I have been unemployed for the past 5 months (now going on 6) and have finally reached the end of my rope. I am a low income worker who also happens to be self employed and I my unemployment has stopped also (IC/self employed workers). I am desperate. I live in Pasadena where I work, or rather used to, and hoping to hear back from you soon with some guidance at the very least. Mahalo and please be safe.
