First of all, if you live in the state of New Jersey a landlord CAN NOT just give you 3 days to vacate. You can ONLY be evicted by a owner through a court order. Try calling your local homeless prevention program. Also, depending on the age of your 2 children, sometimes courts are a little more lenient on mothers with small children. I wish you all the luck in the world. Hang in there....for your kids sake.

I work a full time job but our hours are cut due to the economic slump and I pay child support. I was unable to pay my rent this month and need assistance. I have no car and walk to work. I live alone also. If you can help, please do so if possible. My rent is $645 (all bills paid). I can come up with the late fees myself. Just need help for this month only. Thank you for taking the time to read this message.

Dear Sirs: Until recently, I was affected by the layoff epidemic I was previously employed by a reputable employer, were I was customer service representative for more than 5yrs. Shortly prior to my layoff, my spouse had started a new job with a delivery company, when we received the news that his grandfather was dying. My spouse had to resign from his job to aid his grandmother through the funeral arrangements. It has been difficult trying to find employment however we have persistent and hopeful. We have had help through this ordeal via my mother, where we are now residing with her in a 4br mobile home in Magnolia, TX in Montgomery County. Now again we are facing difficulty. My 34yr old sister suffered a stroke on 10/18/09 and admitted in the hospital. Upon her discharge, my mother will be the caretaker for her and her 2yr old son. Prior to my sister’s hospital admission, I had attempted to get assistance from several agencies. Then soon realized that unless I was a home owner there are no funds available, for assistance if we were not living in our car. At this time I believe the assistance my family needs would be for a short time. I just need someone to LISTEN to our current needs. At this time we are willing to accept ANY housing assistance, so long as my family can share a dinner table together at one time. Thank you for your time. PS. If there is any current funding for Christmas toys for the children I would be eternally grateful. Thank you in advance
