Home ownership assistance Rehabilitation assistanceAll purchase programs require the successful completion of a first-time home buyer education class approved by the City of Shreveport. Basic Criteria & Eligibility Requirements:
Applicant and co-applicant must complete the home buyer education classesApplicant must be a first-time home buyer / existing homeowner Co-applicant whose name appears on the mortgage or deed must occupy the property Credit must be approved per underwriting criteria Employment / income must meet underwriting criteria Property must be in the corporate limits of the City of Shreveport The applicant's income must be 80% or less of the area median income
